Coleman Pinot Noir Estate Williamette Valley Oregon 2010
The special terroir of Oregon is apparent at the first encounter of this Estate wine, with its intense plummy hue and sensual earthen aromatics. The wine is full of ripe, red raspberry on entry, followed by a focused mid-palate, peppered with notes of clove, supported by firm tannins and bright acidity that promises longevity. The delicate complexity surprises with a finish that is long and lightly structured. Drink now-2019.
Aged 21 months in 25% French oak barrels.
After careful hand sorting, the grapes are destemmed whole berry followed with a 10 day cold maceration in 1 ½ and 2 ½ ton open top fermenters then brought to temperature with slow native fermentation. Following a period of native yeast growth, select lots were then inoculated with chosen yeasts that contribute to a classic bright style to respect the 2010 cooler growing season.
Marechal Cremant
De Loire Rose
A wine with tiny, long-lasting bubbles, this Loire Rosé is a lovely gleaming pink, enticing with a delicate, nervy nose and aromas of fresh red fruit. It's lively on the attack and has lovely aromatic intensity and brightness. Well-balanced in the mouth, this sparkler is enhanced by a fresh but subtle finish.
Adea Chardonnay Durant Vineyard
From one of the Willamette Valley’s oldest vineyard sites in the Dundee Hills. It is loaded with luscious fresh pear and melon; silken in texture; and while not enormously complex, nevertheless subtly enhanced by leesy notes and impressively lingering.
